Community Notice: Staff Safety Training on Friday, October 2nd
Triangle Lake Families and Community,
We want to make you aware that on the morning of Friday, October 2nd, Triangle Lake Charter School staff will be participating in an ALICE safety training activity in partnership with the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
This is a planned staff only training exercise. Students will not be on campus or participating in the training.
As part of the training, you may notice an increased law enforcement presence and activity on or around our campus. Please know that this is part of the scheduled exercise and there is no emergency at the school.
Campus will be closed to the public Friday morning while the training is taking place. We ask that families and community members please avoid coming onto campus during this time so staff and law enforcement can complete the training without interruption.
Safety training is an important part of our ongoing work to prepare staff to respond effectively in the event of an emergency. We appreciate the Lane County Sheriff’s Office for partnering with us to provide this opportunity for our staff.

Due to a change in management with Beacock Music, we are going to have to reschedule the instrument rental night to a different date. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause and appreciate your flexibility for your students.
The new band rental night will be:
Date: September 21st
Time: 4-5pm
Location: Triangle Lake Charter School (Cafeteria/Band Room)
This event will be an opportunity for students and families to hear from Beacock Music themselves about the rental process, which includes a small sampling of what they need for class and a few instruments to help showcase what each level of rental looks like.
What do you need to do beforehand?
I am attaching a few fliers from Beacock Music that detail the process of renting an instrument. There will also be a QR code attached that should bring you to the Beacock Music website. From there, you will create an account and follow the instructions on how to rent an instrument. (If you have done this before you might already have an account setup) The band handbook outlines materials required for the class. This needs to be done before the rental night. After that, Beacock Music should bring your student’s instrument to the school and have it ready for the rental night.
