Parent Conferences February 3: Trimester II parent conferences are set for Friday, February 3rd.  Elementary teachers schedule appointments with parents while middle/high school teachers are available in their classrooms from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for drop-in conversations about student progress.  Please set this event on your calendar and plan to attend

Winter Homecoming:  You may have noticed your student dressing…well, interestingly this week.  The junior class is sponsoring a Winter Homecoming complete with spirit week (Tuesday–ugly sweater day, Wednesday–pajama day, Thursday–wacky Wednesday, Friday–green and gold day), soup dinner on Friday (in the cafeteria, starting at 5:00 p.m., $6) and dance on Saturday (8-11:30 p.m., $8 students with student body card, $10 without student body card)

Immunization report:  Each school year Lane County Health Department gathers information from schools to assess the status of student immunizations.  Former TL school nurse, Pat May, will be reporting for TLCS.  Changes in requirements occur for Kindergarten and seventh graders.  Please check your child’s immunizations, consulting with your physician or the Lane County Health Department website to ascertain if your child is in compliance with current requirements.  The school office also has information regarding current immunization requirements.  Mrs. May will be in contact with families to notify about needed updates.  Students whose immunizations are not in compliance with state standards will be excluded from school on February 15th until updates are completed.
