October Field Trip to Frog Pond Farm

It's time for our fall field trip and this year we will be returning to Frog Pond Farm to visit the pumpkin patch, animals and all the other fun that Frog Pond Farm has to offer.

🍂 What a beautiful day for our first TLCS Online meet-up of the year! 🍂

We had an amazing morning hiking at Silver Falls State Park. Along the way, we saw six waterfalls, beautiful fall colors, and even a few little critters!

A big thank you to all of the families who joined us and helped make the day so much fun. We loved having the opportunity to spend time together outside of our virtual classrooms, and I think we’re all already looking forward to our next meet-up!

High School Events

Yesterday we hosted our High School Events meeting for our high school students and families. We wanted to share that recording so that anyone who was unable to attend could watch and get the information. Also, if you have a middle schooler and you want to start looking towards what high school might look like with our program this would be a great video for you to watch.

***IMPORTANT UPDATE***

As we continue working to improve our processes and provide more efficient service, we are making an important change to how reimbursement payments are issued.

Beginning immediately, all reimbursement requests will be processed through direct deposit only. We will no longer be issuing paper checks for reimbursement payments.

Please note that reimbursement requests cannot be processed until a completed Direct Deposit Authorization Form has been received and is on file.

We encourage you to submit your form as soon as possible to help avoid any delays in processing future reimbursements.

Our Virtual Variety Show is quickly approaching. It will be held on April 2nd @ 4:30pm. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 20th (right before spring break). We also wanted to let you know that we have updated the submission form to allow larger file uploads, we heard that some families were unable to upload their submission last year, thank you for letting us know so we could fix the issue.

We are so excited to see what your students decide to share. Remember, the submission can be a photo of a work of art, lego building or sculpture, a video performance of dance, gymnastics, sports, poem/story reading or a musical performance of any kind. Show us something unique to you and your studies!

Also, please come join us virtually to enjoy the show. Help us celebrate our students and their hard work. Support your fellow online Lakers, even if you aren't sharing something in the show. All are encouraged to join.

We very much enjoyed our show last year, and we can't wait to see what amazing things our students have in store for us this year.
